Barbara Lewis

Principle

Barbara’s passion for design began in Boston, MA where she grew up and launched her career in advertising and marketing with a B.S. degree from UNH @ Plymouth. She moved to Aspen, CO in 1991 and continued to work in advertising as well as cultivate her love of hiking, mountain biking and skiing. After a few years she moved to Denver and was offered an opportunity to develop an art consulting business, so in 1998, she started working full-time for a gallery in Boulder, CO learning, procuring, and placing artwork for corporate clients. She enrolled in Art History classes at CU Boulder to further her education and interest in the arts.

In early 2000 she began working for a well-known art consulting firm in Denver continuing to broaden and expand her knowledge and passion for selecting and placing artwork for high-profile clients. In 2005 she opened her own art consulting firm and has provided creative art solutions to a wide variety of corporate and hospitality clientele ever since.

Barbara genuinely cares about giving back. She sat on the board of the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts (CBCA) for 12 years and was an inaugural graduate of CBCA’s Leadership Arts program. She also raises awareness for Mercy Housing by hosting fundraisers and donates blood on a regular basis. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family & friends, skiing, playing pickle ball, yoga, biking, and walking her dog, Rosie (a 6-year-old rescue and member of the LAC Team).

Elizabeth Faraci

Art Consultant

Elizabeth brings a range of experience to Lewis Art Consulting. While working towards her B.F.A. from Pitzer College in Claremont, Elizabeth attended an art program in Florence, Italy, studying jewelry making, typography and serigraphy. She went on to pursue a master’s degree where she studied art therapy, working directly with psychiatric patients, and art education, where she taught art to middle school students in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. She obtained an M.S in Art & Design Education from Pratt Institute in NY.

After graduating, Elizabeth moved back to Denver and became a top Advertising Account Executive and Event Specialist for Westword Newspaper. After several years, she moved into the large format print graphics industry, cultivating relationships with large corporate, development, and multifamily clients including Lockheed Martin, Arrow Electronics and Greystar. Her enthusiasm for turning places into unique spaces lead her into the world of experiential graphics where she a joined a creative agency, spearheading business development for environmental graphic design projects. Feeling that fine art was missing from the field of design, she discovered an art consulting opportunity with Lewis Art Consulting, and the rest is history.

Elizabeth loves researching art, scouting new artists, and making her own art in her home studio. She has three kids and a corgi who likes to paddleboard. When she’s not thinking about art, she’s likely cooking up something in the kitchen, reading a good book or out enjoying live music.

Rosie

Office Assistant

Woof

Rosie was rescued by the Lewis’s 6 years ago from the Hopeful Hound in Aurora (https://www.hopefulhound.com/). She’s a city dog through and through and enjoys long walks in Cherry Creek as well as keeping an eye on the neighborhood from her patio perch on the park. She was quite helpful during Covid as the home office assistant (distraction) and was recently promoted to emotional support dog. Her chief responsibility is to alert us of Amazon and mail deliveries, but mostly spends her time wondering how much PTO she’s accumulated.
